Educational Seminar: “Within the forest lies what is good: Outdoor Classrooms – Forest Schools – Nature Pedagogy.”
On Saturday, 15 November 2025, Philodassiki had the pleasure of welcoming to the Aesthetic Forest the participants of the Educational Seminar of the National Thematic Network for Environmental Education, with the title: “Within the forest lies what is good: Outdoor Classrooms – Forest Schools – Nature Pedagogy.”
The seminar was co-organised by the Environmental Education Centres (KEPEA) of Argyroupoli and Karpenisi, with coordination responsibility undertaken by the KEPEA of Karpenisi.
Primary and secondary education teachers were welcomed and informed about the Aesthetic Forest and its management by the Technical Director, Mr Nikos Pangas.
The Head of Educational Programmes of Philodasiki, Ms. Roza Triantafyllidi, conducted experiential, field-based activities with a group of primary education teachers.
On behalf of the organisers, coordination was led by Ms. Maria Katsogianni, President of the National Thematic Network for Environmental Education and Deputy Head of the KEPEA of Karpenisi, together with co-organisers from the KEPEA of Argyroupoli: Mr. Themistoklis Sbarounis, Head of the KEPEA of Argyroupoli, and members of the Educational Team, Mr. Achilleas Mandrikas and Ms. Maria Psychogiou.
