Green Kypseli visits the Aesthetic Forest

We welcomed members and partners of the “Green Kypseli” network to the Mt. Hymettus Aesthetic Forest and had the pleasure of introducing them to Philodassiki’ s long-standing work.

Green Kypseli is a creative citizen initiative working together to foster urban greening, social integration and empowerment in Kypseli, Athens. It aims to create a green space – the first community garden in Kypseli. It is a collective of residents working towards a more sustainable urban environment in their neighbourhood and beyond.

Following a brief introduction to our history, which we hope will inspire the group, we walked through the Aesthetic Forest and the nursery and carried out a short planting workshop using cuttings of aromatic plants. These will soon find their place in the community garden in Kypseli.
