Visit of Libra Philanthropies’ independent nonprofit organizations

On a beautiful autumn day, with the scent of morning rain in the air, we had the pleasure of welcoming the leaders of Libra Philanthropies’ independent nonprofits: Concordia, Envolve Entrepreneurship, Founder Forward, Seleni Institute, and WE LEAD, to the Mt. Hymettus Aesthetic Forest.

We introduced them to Philodassiki’s history and mission, sharing insights about the creation and continuous care of the Aesthetic Forest, as well as the environmental challenges we face in its preservation.

Together, we walked through the “Educational Garden” and the “Historical Olive Grove”, where participants had the chance to prune vigorous shoots from the olive trunks – a simple but meaningful act to help the trees grow stronger and healthier.

Our visit concluded at Taxiarches Hill, where we enjoyed the view over Athens and the Saronic Gulf.
